A twelve-month programme on industrial control system security for operators of critical infrastructure in Poland, built around the December 2025 attack on Polish energy infrastructure.
Cyber First Responders is a twelve-month knowledge-transfer programme on the security of industrial control systems, built for operators of critical infrastructure in Poland. It runs from September 2026 to August 2027.
The programme is built around the December 2025 attack on Polish distributed energy infrastructure, close enough to be recognisable to the people in the room and recent enough that the lessons have not yet been absorbed.
It has three parts: a two-day bootcamp in Warsaw with United States faculty, three transatlantic webinars, and a bilingual OT security playbook published free of charge.
No media, no recording. The bootcamp runs under the Chatham House Rule. Participation carries no commercial obligation and no products or services are presented.
Jarosław Sordyl — Project Lead, IVLP alumnus. Fifteen years in industrial cybersecurity,

Sessions are led by experts with deep knowledge of industrial control systems and OT/ICS security, practitioners with many years of hands-on experience in industrial environments. They take part in the project in a non-commercial capacity, independently of their home organisations. Details of the speakers are provided in the invitations sent to those who register.
